Physxtech
Physxtech is our unique math algorithm cleverly included in every DVD-Ranger core. With our Physxtech technology, DVD-Ranger produces an unbeaten playback quality of your recompressed video.
The advantage of Physxtech is that the source will be recompressed faster and more efficient than our competitor’s old-fashioned methods. Physxtech relies on a state-of-the-art interpolation algorithm that models moves with extremely accurate calculations. The quality of the copied DVD will increase tremendously, unlike common calculations featured by classic copying software, which are based on unstable fixed tables.
The power of Physxtech is undeniable, considering the fact that downsides like block artifacts are reduced and corrected while at the same time action-loaded and bit-hungry scenes are recompressed properly and produced more efficiently.

Authoring Mode:
This window you will see with the project type "Own Full Copy". This mode allows you to select/deselect the final content on the DVD. For example, you can deselect languages (for better quality) , deselect unwanted content like trailer and previews.
Automatic Mode:
To copy the whole disk or only the whole movie you can use the automatic modes. Here no other selection is needed.
Mobile/ Own Movie Only / Bluray Mode
In this modes you see all available titles on the DVD. You can select only one title to copy. DVD-Ranger will show you a default title that was selected by a DVD analyze. Sometimes DVD-Ranger fails, or you want to copy another title, so you can select your own.
Prescan
This copy step is needed to calculate the final size and gather statistics for the Physxtech engine. This step is usually very fast.
Copy
In this window you will see the copy progress and a preview of the actual scene being transcoded
Burn Dialog
The burn dialog is a fully functional disk creation utility. You can burn to DVD, VideoDVD and BluRay or create DiskImager files from your content. Very easy to handle.
Settings Dialog
Here you can set your own DVD-Ranger settings. We have choosen the default settings to suit most users' needs, so in most cases fiddling with the settings is not necessary.
