Copy DVD To iPod / iPhone
This guide will show you how to use DVD-Ranger to copy only your main movie from your DVDs into the iPods video format.
Introduction & Requirements
DVD Ranger – Download and install this tool.
Decrypter – Download a decrypter like machinist2.dll, DVD43 or AnyDVD
Step1:
Insert DVD into your DVD drive

Step 2:
Select the desired project, by clicking on one of the target buttons. For this tutorial click on “Mobile” (1).

Step 3:
From “Select your Source” (2), Select the location of source of your DVD; whether it is an ISO file, or present on hard disc, or on a removable storage device.

Step 4:
Wait for DVD-Ranger to analyze the disc completely. (The analyze window will close automatic).

Step 5:
Select the target. You have different target options (3). For this tutorial we select a iPod profile.

Step 6:
For this tutorial, click in the main list (4) to “iPod Classic / Nano” and in the profile list (5) “ipod Classic / Nano – 428 HQ h264/1280kbps AAC/128kps”.

Step 7:
A mobile copy allows only one audio track. In the audio tab (6) you can select the language you want to have in your mobile copy. With the internal DVD player (8) you can preview the title.
Since DVD-Ranger 3.2.1.5 you can edit the profile. Click on “Settings >>” (7) to expand the UI for detailed settings. Read more at: Mobile Copy Settings

Step 8:
The mobile copy has a special selection, this is the movie angle (9). In a mobile copy, only one movie angle is allowed, so you have to select the angle you want to copy.

Click on the button “Start Now!”

Step 10:
If you do not have set the “Save As” field in the mobile settings (Step 7), DVD-Ranger will now ask where you want to save the mobile copy.

Step 11:
DVD-Ranger now start automatic the copy to mobile (10). To stop the copy process press “Cancel” (12). In WMV encoding the bitrate meter control (11) is disabled.

Step 12:
After the copy is finish, DVD-Ranger will show you a message.
